Miguel Creus is a cinematographer born in Alicante, Spain, raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and now based in California.
Creus began his career in Puerto Rico documenting the skateboarding scene of San Juan. Since then his experience has expanded to commercials, branded content, narrative films, documentaries and music videos. His most recent projects include the feature film "Yo Soy un Político" (HBO 2017), feature documentary "Pedro E. Guerrero: A Photographer's Journey" (PBS 2016), web series "The North Pole" (2019) and short films "Mi Gallo," "Beep" and "Es Mejor Escucharlo."
He holds a BA in Telecommunications and TV Production from the University of Sacred Heart in San Juan and a Masters Degree in Cinematography from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. He has also gained In-Depth knowledge with the latest high end equipment (Phantom, Arri, Red, Sony and Canon) having worked 10 years as the Lead Camera Technician at Chater Camera in Berkeley, California.
