Miguel Creus is a cinematographer based in San Francisco, and was born in Alicante, España.
Creus began his career in Puerto Rico documenting and making videos of the skateboarding scene in San Juan. Since then, his experience has significantly broadened and expanded to shooting commercials, branded content, feature-length & short-form narrative films, documentaries and music videos. His most recent projects include, the feature film, Yo Soy un Político (HBO, 2017); feature-documentary, Pedro E. Guerrero: A Photographer's Journey (PBS, 2016); the multi- season web series, The North Pole; and short films like Mi Gallo, Beep and Es Mejor Escucharlo.
Creus has an in-depth knowledge and experience with the latest high-end equipment (Phantom, Arri, Red, Sony and Canon) having worked for 10 years as the main camera technician at Chater Camera in Berkeley, California.
Creus has a BA in Telecommunications and TV Production from the University of Sacred Hearts in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and a Masters Degree in Cinematography from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, California.
